Abrams introduce the first minute of Revolution’s return with a brand new preview clip, in which Abrams promises that, “the second half of the first season is just bigger and cooler and gets more intense.” This is good news for fans of the NBC post apocalyptic sci-fi drama that have been waiting patiently for the show’s return during an interminably long four-month hiatus.

It kind of sends the second half of the season off on a new trajectory.” Greenblatt added that one reason NBC wanted to keep Revolution off the air for a while was their desire to bring it back with a strong lead-in show. Read MoreIt’s official; NBC has picked up its action/adventure drama Revolution for a full season commitment for the 2012-13 season, according to Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment. “We’re impressed with the imagination and creative direction of the entire team on Revolution, not to mention the immediately strong response we got from the audience,” said Salke in NBC’s October 2 press release.
