Another year, another San Diego Comic-Con. One of the biggest and most well known. So much news and announcements coming out of one weekend. And here is where we’ll be bringing together all the video game news we could get from the exciting weekend.

Starting off with big news about Firefly Online, the MMORPG in which you take control of your own ship. However, it was announced that the original cast of Firefly will be reprising their roles in the game. A piece of something amazing that’s been missing for a long time. However, if this game doesn’t center around the original crew, but rather you taking control of your own ship and leading it about the ‘verse, why are they reprising their roles, and what part will they play in this new game? Looks like we’ll just have to keep waiting and find out.

Assassin’s Creed also getting some news after the weekend: a short motion graphic by Rob Zombie and illustrated by The Walking Dead’s Tony Moore has been released by Ubisoft. Based on the events of the French Revolution, the short is tied to the new game Assassin’s Creed: Unity that will be coming to stores October 28. The rather gory video recounts the story of the famous revolution, and gives a teaser of the story of the new game by Ubisoft.

Please note: This video is for mature audiences, and people with strong stomachs.

A Hitman reboot banner was revealed at SDCC with the first official look of Rupert Friend as 47 in the movie coming February 27, 2015. The movie is titled Hitman: Agent 47, however little is known about the story, the official synopsis is:

Based on the top-selling, award-winning videogame franchise, Agent 47 is an all-new motion picture about an elite and genetically engineered assassin, known only by the last two digits – 47 – of a barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. His latest target is a young woman on the run from powerful and clandestine forces.
