2023 Game Award Winners Announced

The 10th annual Game Awards were held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on December 7th, streamed live across more than 30 streaming platforms as the winners were announced. Baldur’s Gate 3 was the big winner of the night, followed by Alan Wake 2. Each of those games had gone into the evening with eight nominations, while seven noms had been thrown at Spider-Man 2, which walked away with nothing in the win column.

During the event, there were also a number of announcements made. Capcom announced Monster Hunter Wilds, while EA Originals gave us news of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU and Sega will be rebooting a number of retro franchises including Streets of Rage, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Golden Age, and Shinobi.
