Sharing is Caring. Pass It On!

Sure you do! Because your mother taught you to share, right? Sharing is caring. Sharing is good for your karma. And other nice persuasive things go here to emotionally blackmail you into doing something you might or might not already be doing.

Sharing us with your friends.

We know you have a few. Maybe a handful. OK, even that guy with the bad haircut in the cubicle across from yours — he counts, too. And the nosy neighbor that friended you on Facebook and now you can’t un-friend because it would be rude and what are you hiding from the neighbors, hmmmm?

SHARE US WITH…

All kidding aside, we really appreciate your coming here (and coming back) to read our latest posts — comic book reviews, TV show recaps, the latest headlines, podcasts — and while it may seem that our brilliant handiwork would just naturally gravitate to the top of the search engines and find some room on the top of your news feed, there are days we need a little help with that.

Social media is constantly a fluctuating thing, and by the time one of our articles makes it to Twitter or Facebook or LinkedIn, it gets swallowed up by selfies, political rants, the latest Big Data conspiracy, that photo you wish you never took in 1986, and somebody’s lunch.

It’s very easy to get lost in the swirling noise of the Internet, so we’d like your help in making sure people have a chance to see what we have to offer fellow fans and genre enthusiasts like yourself.

So, we’d like to ask you to do us a favor — share us.

At the bottom of each article (like this one), there are icons for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, tumblr, Reddit, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn, and the “Press This!” feature on WordPress, along with e-mail and printing options. If you would be so kind, would you take a moment and hit one or two of those (whichever is your preferred way of connecting with others) and let them know you thought something we said or did is worth the time to check out.

SHARE WITH US…

And while we’re on the subject of sharing, there’s something else we’d like to invite you to do: share with us — tell us what you like, what you don’t like. Leave us comments, send us e-mails (most of our shows have their own e-mail accounts, and we’d love the feedback), call our hotline… generally, be a part of our community.

We’d like our podcasts and shows to be conversation starters, and we’d love for you to join in and share your thoughts about our chosen topics. Or suggest new topics — something you don’t hear discussed enough, some new take on an old idea, why your favorite show is your favorite show (and if you pick Firefly over H2O, we understand… really… ).

We’re constantly looking for ways to make your SciFi4Me experience better, so help us help you. Tell us what you think.

We’d really appreciate it.
