Catching Up: THE LAST SHIP
It’s been two summers since The Last Ship premiered on TNT June 22, 2014. The Last Ship is produced by Michael Bay. It follows the USS Nathan James and its captain Tom Chandler (Eric Dane), Dr. Rachel Scott (Rhona Mitra), and XO Mike Slattery (Adam Baldwin) as they work together to find a vaccine or cure for a pandemic. Once they find a vaccine and head home to the US, they find a working government in place, or is it?
More trouble ensues during the second season when the Russians, immune from the virus, try to stop Dr. Scott and the crew of the USS Nathan James from spreading the cure. I’m here to catch you up on the first two seasons to prepare you for this season’s premiere on Sunday, June 19th.
