H2O #22: In Which We Discuss Alan Moore Vs. HERCULES
This week: Mr. Harvey and Mr. Hunt take on Alan Moore. Well, no, actually… Alan Moore takes on Hercules and Radical Studios. The new adaptation starring Dwayne Johnson, hits theaters Friday the 25th, and Mr. Moore would very much rather you didn’t see it. On principle. See, the film production team and the publishers have worked it so that — according to an interview in Bleeding Cool — comics writer Steve Moore didn’t get any compensation for the adaptation. And now that he’s passed away, the marketing has decided to acknowledge his part in the source material. Only it’s not in a way you’d find in good taste.
