SOREN JOHNSON’S OFFWORLD TRADING COMPANY Gets New Expansion
Popular real-time strategy game Soren Johnson’s Offworld Trading Company got a new expansion has been announced by Stardock and Mohawk Games.
The expansion, titled The Europa Wager, takes place on the frozen moon of Europa. The moon has several cracks on the surface, making new structures very difficult to build. Additionally, this expansion will come with new resources for the players to harvest, like methane and magnesium. Players will also be treated to new structures that they can build, including methane extractors, not to mention gas and hydrothermal plants. Naturally, the expansion has new scenarios as well.
Soren Johnson’s Offworld Trading Company is a real time strategy game where money is your weapon, and not a military force. The game has many “real world” elements to it. For instance, water will not be hard to find on the new moon, Europa, as it’s a frozen wasteland, but aluminum does not exist in this place, either.
A release date has not been confirmed, other than the fact that the expansion releases in Fall 2019. You can put the expansion on your Steam wishlist right now. The expansion will cost $14.99.
