DOCTOR STRANGE: Wong Will Play Wong

Doctor Strange has his sidekick.

Recently seen as a Jet Propulsion Lab exec in Ridley Scott’s The Martian, Wong is also featured as Kublai Khan on Netflix’s period drama Marco Polo, and has also put in appearances in Prometheus and Kick-Ass 2.

The character Wong is the manservant to Doctor Strange, and is gifted in martial arts. Sent by his teacher, the Ancient One, he tends to Strange’s affairs and is responsible for watching over the good doctor’s body during astral projection sessions, where Strange travels outside of his body.

Wong, the actor, joins Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen in the cast.

Doctor Strange is set for release November 4th.
