Square Enix has announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will finally come to PC on January 28, 2016.

Originally released back in December 2015 as an exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360, the game has sold over one million copies, a number insiders say would have been disappointing in past years. The last entry in the Tomb Raider franchise sold 3.6 million units when it was launched, but was considered a disappointment by Square Enix because it didn’t sell at least five million units. Eventually, however, the game went on to sell 8.5 million units, and is now the best-selling game in the franchise.

“PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they’ll embrace the version created for their systems,” said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics. CD and Nixxes Software have added several features, including 4K resolution and support for Windows 10.

The PC version will be available for digital download via Steam, Amazon, and other outlets. The “Standard” edition will go for $59.99. The “Digital Deluxe” edition is $89.99, and includes the Season Pass for current and future DLC.

“The PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,” said Scot Amos, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.

A collector’s edition, which include the Digital Deluxe version of the game, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case, will also be available from the Square Enix e-store for $149.99.

A Playstation 4 release is expected for the 2016 holiday season, but there’s no official announcement yet.
