DARK KNIGHT: Selina Kyle Rises
So, we’ve seen Tom Hardy as Bane, and of course we all know what Christian Bale’s Batman looks like. MTV compiled images of the two on set.
And now, on the heels of the first image of Henry Cavill as Superman, we have this official photo of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle:
Now, I make the distinction that this is Selina Kyle and not Catwoman because that’s how the photo is named. That, combined with the fact that she doesn’t seem to be in full Catwoman attire, leads me to speculate that this is not how the Catwoman persona will finally look.
Why is she on the Batpod? That may depend on what Selina Kyle does for a living in this version of the story. Odds are she’s not a prostitute this time around. The goggles look like they might be some kind of virtual reality unit. Perhaps she’s in Wayne Tech’s R&D department? We know from the first movie, that a lot of Batman’s gear was originally developed for military contracts that never went through. Could Selina Kyle have been part of that team?
Or maybe it’s just another shiny new toy she’s out to steal?
