TIME for Matt Lanter
Matt Lanter, known to many as the voice of Anakin Skywalker on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, has been cast in one of the three lead roles in Time, a new action adventure drama from Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and Shawn Ryan (The Shield).
Lanter will star opposite Abigail Spencer (Mad Men, Suits) as two of the three time travelers tasked to stop a criminal mastermind bent on altering human history. According to Deadline, it’s described as “Back to the Future meets Mission: Impossible” — high-octane.
Ryan and Kripke co-wrote the pilot and will executive produce the series, should it get picked up by NBC. Sony Pictures TV and Davis Entertainment are hanging their shingles on this one, with John Davis and John Fox from Davis Entertainment co-executive producers along with MiddKid Productions’ Marney Hochman.
Time-traveling super-team fighting a villain bent on changing history? Seems there’s a legend about that somewhere…
Maybe we’ll look tomorrow.
