Paramount Casting For New G.I. JOE Picture
Paramount announced that it is looking for new talent for the film G.I. Joe: Ever Vigilant.
And by “new” talent, Paramount means “new” — it’s an open call for both lead and supporting roles for the new film. Anyone can submit a self-made audition tape using scenes provided by the casting director. There’s a one-time $99 fee, and you must also include pictures of yourself and some general information about who you are.
The story of the film follows a new team of Joes: Daina Janack, Dr. Adele Burkhart, Wild Bill, Barbecue, General Flagg, Doc and Keel-Haul. The villains are Tomax and Xamot. The Crimson twins are also in this film. G.I. Joe: Ever Vigilant is about how the Joes are forced into being reinstated when the Cobra terrorists get their hands on a new weapon. G.I. Joe: Ever Vigilant is set to be released on March 27, 2020.
This movie is part of the five movie Hasbro Cinematic Universe that Paramount Pictures is making. M.A.S.K., Micronauts, Rom and Visionaries will also be a part of this new connected universe. Lindsey Beer, Michael Chabon, Cheo Hodari Coker, Brian K. Vaughan, Nicole Riegel, Jonathan Goldstein, Jeff Pinkner, Nicole Perlman, John Francis Daley, Geneva Robertson and Joe Robert Cole are members of the writing room for this new universe.
No release dates have been set for the other projects.
