Lydia Wilson Joins STAR TREK BEYOND
Lydia Wilson has joined the cast of Star Trek Beyond.
Along with Wilson, the current cast, including returning reboot series actors, includes Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Joe Taslim, Sofia Boutella, and Idris Elba cast as the villain.
Like most of the new character details for this film, the details on Wilson’s role are being kept quiet. Wilson is known for her roles in About Time, Ripper Street, and several other British television and theater productions.
Production is currently underway for this Paramount and Skydance film. J.J. Abrams will produce along with Bryan Burke and Skydance’s David Ellison. Justin Lin will direct from Pegg and Doug Jung’s script.
Star Trek Beyond premieres July 8, 2016.
