Free Comic Book Day LIVE!
While I know many of you are just getting home from various The Avengers showings, here’s another event to be looking forward to: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2012! It’s the eleventh year of the event and comic book stores across the nation (and some worldwide) are getting ready for the deluge of customers this Saturday.
If you don’t already have plans or know if your local comic book shop has any plans for the event, you might want to check out the Free Comic Book Day Store Locator on the FCBD website (available here). If nothing else, look for the logo on their door!
Here at the site, we’re gearing up for a very unique event. As some of you may have already heard, SciFi4Me now has a Livestream channel. Whereas it’s been running much of what you can get on the YouTube channel of late, we’re planning on an uber-amazing-awesome grand premiere … A LIVE STREAM OF FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2012! That’s right, TODAY we’ll be streaming interviews and live footage from all around the nation at various comic book stores. The full list is going to be updated as we add more teams hitting the streets, but here’s what we’ve got so far…

NOTE: In some places, we’ll be able to stream live, and in some cases we’ll be taping interviews to run later in the day and over the weekend.
We’ll have interviews with creators and other special guests, so please tune in! We’re looking to go live sometime before 11am and wrap up only as the events wrap up…it’s going to be a long day at HQ!
