Carrie-Anne Moss Hits the Marvel Matrix

The Wrap is reporting that Carrie-Anne Moss is the latest to join the cast of AKA Jessica Jones from Marvel Studios.
Moss, who made her genre mark as Trinity in The Matrix, will have a recurring role as a character named Harper, described as “a person in a position of authority who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica (Krysten Ritter) — if the titular character doesn’t completely alienate her first, that is.”
Speculation has already begun on whether or not “Harper” is actually a cover name for another character. Some have suggested Moss could actually be playing Jessica Drew (AKA Spider-Woman), Sally Floyd, or Dakota North. Given those choices, if Harper is a cover name, Dakota North is the most likely of the options for Moss to play. North has been a supporting character in a number of Marvel titles, making her debut in Daredevil.
Moss joins Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, David Tennant, and Rachael Taylor. AKA Jessica Jones will air on Netflix later in 2015, following the 13-episode Daredevil airing April 10th.
