Banner_TrailerPark

One of the many panels at this year’s WonderCon was the trailer for the upcoming Thunderbirds Are Go series.

A reinvention of the cult classic puppetry experience Thunderbirds from the ’60s, Thunderbirds are Go is geared for kids in the 6 to 11 age range, and follows the adventures of the five Tracy brothers as International Rescue, helping others and fighting the bad guys. This time, it will be a mix of CGI animation and live-action model sets produced by ITV and Pukeko Pictures, in collaboration with Weta Workshop. The series brings back David Graham, one of the voices from the original Thunderbirds series.

The series will be available to stream here on Amazon Video on April 22, with a special sneak peak on April 15 with the first two episodes.
