STAR WARS Episode IX: Colin Trevorrow to Direct
SAN DIEGO — Umberto Gonzalez, also known as “El Mayimbe” and formerly of Latino Review, has reported the news that Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will be helming the final entry in the new Star Wars main trilogy, Episode IX.
Gonzalez broke the news on his new site, Heroic Hollywood, late last night. The Star Wars panels are set for today, with news coming from Hasbro and the publishing sector along with the big panel in Hall H. This news comes after Trevorrow himself said he was going to take a break from big-budget tentpole films to concentrate on smaller projects and hone his craft.
Jurassic World currently holds the record for breaking the $1 Billion mark, previously held by The Avengers.
Looks like “20 Years From Now” Colin Trevorrow will have to come out of the box once again.
