Paramount Pictures has released a set of posters featuring the cast members of Star Trek Beyond, set to hit theaters July 22nd.
In this second sequel to J.J. Abrams’ reboot of the franchise, directed by Justin Lin, “the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.” (from the presser)
Star Trek Beyond director Justin Lin has said he’s a die-hard Trek fan, having watched it with his family late at night over dinner. In interviews, Lin has expressed a desire to get the movie franchise back to its roots, with more of the exploration and “cerebral” aspects of the original series.
