SciFi4Me Journal: Our New Show Visits a Starship

Oklahoma City, OK — In a nondescript warehouse somewhere in the middle of Oklahoma, there lives a little piece of the future. Starbase Studios is where you’ll find a full-scale reproduction of the bridge of the starship Enterprise from the original Star Trek.

Richard Wells and Scott Johnson run the operation, which relies heavily on volunteer man-hours and donations to maintain the facility, which is available to anyone who wants to mount a fan film. And they do it for free. TOS Graphics provides the displays for the monitors. And the studio is alos involved in its own production, Starship Grissom, which will center around educational curricula developed by teachers in the Moore, OK school district.
