GIRLS’ Lena Dunham To Join AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Writer and director Ryan Murphy, of the cult enthused series American Horror Story, released a tweet on July 19th introducing Lena Dunham into the AHS bloodline.

Dunham is accompanied by other newcomers such as Billie Lourd and Billy Eichner. After announcing the casting, the next day Murphy announced the season 7 title is called Cult and will be based around the 2016 Presidential Election, stating “Suddenly…it will all make sense.” Let’s be honest, it doesn’t get much horror inducing than that.

Dunham is known for her previous role as Hannah Horvath in the HBO series Girls, created by Dunham herself. It is not yet clear what role she will be playing for her one episode but one can hope for a strong, independent, iron willed woman sticking it to, or rather in, the cheese puff himself, alongside the Scream Queens of earmuffs, Billie Lourd.

Season 7 of the Anthology will premiere on Tuesday, September 5.
