EXCLUSIVE: Evan Roderick to Make THE CROSSING

The new time travel war series The Crossing has apparently found its first cast member: Evan Roderick.

Sources tell us that Roderick will play Marshall, described in the casting notes as at 20-year-old who’s “restless and observant” and that he “has had a great life growing up in Port Canaan but has become convinced that the world holds much more to see. After observing locals talk about the survivors that recently washed up on the beach,Marshall’s curiosity gets the best of him; dragging along his friend Will, he decides to figure out what’s really going on…”

Port Canaan could be one of the locations of the war in the future, from which people are escaping into the past, as we noted in the first news about the project.

The Canadian-born Roderick is set to appear in the upcoming ABC mini-series When We Rise, which stars Guy Pearce and Mary-Louise Parker. That will air starting Monday, February 27th.
