Disney Announces Title for the Next STAR WARS

Disney and Lucasfilm have announced the title of Star Wars: Episode VIII, the next entry in what they’re now calling the “Skywalker saga”.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will pick up immediately where The Force Awakens left off, with Rey standing before Luke Skywalker on the island of Ahch-To. Written and directed by Rian Johnson, produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman, the sequel hits theaters December 15, 2017. Executive producers are J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.
