WAYWARD PINES Set to Return May 25
Fox has announced that the second season of Wayward Pines will air beginning Wednesday, May 25.
Jason Patric will top-line the cast this season, starring as Dr. Theo Yedlin, a new resident who wakes up from suspended animation and finds himself in the middle of the rebellion going on in the small town of Wayward Pines. The residents are battling against the First Generation, and Yedlin tries to figure out what’s going on.
Joining Patric are two-time Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou and Emmy Award nominee Hope Davis, along with Tom Stevens, Nimrat Kaur, Josh Helman, and Kacey Rohl.
Season one cast members also making an appearance include Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, Melissa Leo, Tim Griffin, Shannyn Sossamon, and Charlie Tahan.
The show, executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan, was the #1 scripted series on broadcast television last summer. Based on the series of international best-selling books by Blake Crouch, Wayward Pines will pick up where season one left off. Season two will be ten episodes.
