And this one isn’t a trailer for a movie, but it is a trailer for things to come in the realm of neuroscience. Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley used Functional MRI (fMRI) and a lot of computer power (with a healthy dose of math and algorithms and what-not) to get this actual video of how video clips are seen inside the brain. It’ll take a while to get to the dreams and memories, but this could be a huge breakthrough in helping people who have some physical ailment that prevents them from communicating. Better yet, it might be a way to see into the mind of someone in a coma…
