Breaking News

Yesterday, TVLine broke the news that ABC’s alien thriller The Whispers will be recasting the role of Lena, the photojournalist wife of Barry Sloane’s character, Wes. Lena was portrayed by Brianna Brown in the pilot, before the actress exited the series for “creative reasons” (explanation that is always cited when someone quits in Hollywood, yet tells us nothing of what actually happened). Her scenes will be re-shot when ABC finds someone to step in. We will keep you updated.

Marvel Watch

In casting news, Vincent D’Onofrio of the Law & Order fame will be playing Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. The Kingpin in the first NETFLIX show to hit the web, Marvel’s Daredevil. Marvel.com described the character as “a powerful businessman whose interests in the future of Hell’s Kitchen will bring him into conflict with the blind attorney Matt Murdock and his alter ego Daredevil.” It’s been previously announced that Daredevil will be played by Boardwalk Empire actor, Charlie Cox.

Spoilers from Behind the Scenes

Sleepy Hollow’s executive producer Heather Kadin did an interview recently where she talked about what’s in store for Abby and her sister Jenny. The two are said to be much closer in season 2 than they were previously, but that there’s going to be a man between them at some point. “Abbie’s story this year really has to do with the relationship with her mother and a lot she didn’t know about as a child,” Kadin says.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Status Quo is not a term Teen Wolf‘s writing team is familiar with, it seems, at least judging from the spoilers and rumors appearing online. Not only it is said that the former Alpha, Derek (played by Tyler Hoechlin) will be changed in a significant way the next time Beacon Hills gang sees him, now TVLine reports that the new addition to the cast Dylan Sprayberry’s Liam might not be entirely human. His true nature will be revealed in the third episode of the season.
