THE PUNISHER Adds to Cast
More casting news for The Punisher: Michael Nathanson has joined the cast as Homeland Security agent Sam Stein, partners with Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah). Stein is described as somewhat disillusioned with his job.
No other details are available about the story, but Stein doesn’t appear to be a character from the source material. So he’s either original to the show, or he’ll be revealed as someone else over the course of the show.
The Punisher is currently in production, with Jon Bernthal starring as Frank Castle, introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe during the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil. It was recently announced that Daredevil‘s Deborah Ann Woll will appear as Karen Page, likely continuing the complex dynamic between the two characters during Castle’s trial and subsequent escape.
The first season of The Punisher will be thirteen episodes, set to debut in 2017.
