DOCTOR STRANGE Adds to Cast

BANNER_News2013

The Wrap first broke the news: Doctor Strange has added two more to the cast: actress Amy Landecker and martial artist Scott Adkins.

Landecker can currently be seen on Tranparent, where she plays Sarah Pfefferman. Marvel had no comment on her casting, so her role remains unclear, as it does for Adkins.

The Wrap reports their insiders tell them Adkins will have several action scenes featuring hand-to-hand combat, but no other details have surfaced as of yet. Adkins has appeared in The Bourne Ultimatum, The Expendables 2, and Zero Dark Thirty.

Photos of a bearded Benedict Cumberbatch have begun to surface from the location shooting in Nepal, and production has moved to the UK as of this week.

Flickering Myth reports on the concept trailer, which was shown to media outlets at the D23 conference:

There’s already the fact that Ant-Man showed us some of the mystical world Strange will deal with, but also we now get speculation about a possible connection to Guardians of the Galaxy.

Doctor Strange hits theaters November 4, 2016.
