STAR TREK in St. Louis, MO

At the beginning of February, we got a chance to finally head over to St. Louis and catch the Star Trek Exhibition now running at the St. Louis Science Center through Memorial Day.

Robert Picardo (“Star Trek: Voyager” and “Stargate: Atlantis”) was there as well, and I got a few minutes to chat about his career and the demise of the space program:

I also spoke with Jackie Mollet, who runs the special exhibits program at SLSC. She’s responsible for bringing in the new shows and exhibits to keep people interested in all things science.

  • There was a Star Trek Exhibition at the Kennedy Space Center here in Florida and I got a chance to see it. No celebrities, but they may have been there when it first opened. They had some great stuff on display including a replica of the Guardian of Forever.

    • It’s the same show, although with different items. We didn’t get the Guardian, but we did have a full mock-up of the 1701-D bridge.

      • In addition to the Guardian, ours had the bridge from the original series and sick bay and engineering from Next Gen.
