Knight is Right On 11/22/63
Deadline Hollywood reports that T.R. Knight has joined the cast of Hulu’s science fiction series 11/22/63, playing the role of Johnny Clayton.
Knight came to public prominence in appearing in notable roles in Grey’s Anatomy, The Good Wife and 42. He garnered a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards for his role as Dr. George O’Malley.
Produced by James Franco, who stars as Jacob “Jake” Epping, 11/22/63, based on the novel by Stephen King, is about an English teacher who travels back in time to prevent the Kennedy assassination, but discovers he is attached to the life he has made in a bygone era.
Knight’s character, Johnny Clayton, remains hopelessly in love with his estranged wife, even knowing that she is carrying on affair with Epping.
11/22/63 is executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Bridget Carpenter, Bryan Burke, and King himself.
