First Clip: SUPERMAN VS. THE ELITE

Warner Home Video has released this first clip from the upcoming DC Animated feature Superman vs. the Elite, based on Action Comics #775 by Joe Kelly (“What’s So What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way?”) – with a script by Kelly.

Starring George Newbern as Superman and N.C.I.S. goth girl Pauley Perrette as Lois Lane, the feature examines what happens when the non-lethal Superman meets a new group of superpowered folk who don’t have any moral quandaries about killing bad guys to make a point.

Wizard called it the “Greatest Superman Story of All Time” and it ranks #21 on the “Top 100 Comics in the Last 30 Years”.

Superman vs. the Elite hits the streets June 12.
