Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. delivers the return of Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, along with that Warehouse 13 cross-over we’ve been wanting! No, wait. That’s simply Eddie McClintock not playing Mar-Vell… oh, well.
In this episode, we get more (and pretty faithful) details about the history of Kree meddling with human DNA for the purposes of developing weapons for their age-old war. When the obelisk altered Raina and Skye, the Kree picked up a signal, prompting Vin-Tak (all by himself?) to visit Earth, retrieve the remaining obelisks, and destroy the “abomination” created by Terrigenesis.
Plus: more with Mack and Bobbie, more with Bobbie and Hunter, and one step closer to that imminent “come to Jesus” meeting between Fitz and Simmons, who’s still acting a little out of character for our tastes.

Great podcast but I came up with some things to ponder:
I don’t think Whitehall had anything to do with the teregenesis of The Reader in the early 80s that you guys were alluding to given that he thought, up to recently, that the diviner was a weapon. The process was shot to show that Sky’s mother and the older asian gent were managing the process of teregenesis and acclimation. Also, he (Whitehall) may have still been in prison during that timeframe. It was once he got out that he essentially found a way to imbibe Sky’s mother’s youth ability once he was presented with her after he was released by Alexander Pierce and put back to work in his nefarious ways.
I do agree that the diviners are reusable. Since the root of its functionality is crystals which can regrow it could be that it takes time for re-use.
Since we saw that The Reader has a diviner of his own in the mid-season finale, we have to assume at this point that other ones are in the possession of the rest of the (hopefully good) Inhumans. After all, he did call someone and ask if they were “seeing this too?” So that accounts for possibly 2 of the remaining 5.
Bobby and Mack seem most interested in obtaining Fury’s tool box, and given the players on the board, and how HYDRA is missing a few heads at this point, I think they are working for Talbot. What bigger golden egg could there be from his perspective to weed out HYDRA and also possibly to get SHIELD under government control.
No one touched on the fact that Sky also seemed to have the ability to make objects essentially disentigrate in her hands. That was pretty wikkid!
Interesting theory about Bobbi and Mack working for Talbott. Hadn’t considered that angle, since Agent Carter has us all looking to Leviathan now…
And yes, shaking apart the gun was a very cool effect.
