We're Recruiting

Greetings, programs!

Looking over the list of everything that needs to be posted, and the time frame in which I have to get it done, and the amount of time available during the day, and the number of people that are busy with their own projects… it’s time for me to put out a call for more help.

SciFi4Me.com is looking for folks who love science fiction, fantasy, video games, comic books, cosplay, conventions, movies, television… any or all that apply.

Can you write? Do you have a background in journalism? Do you have a quirky way of expressing your opinion? You might fit in with the current Gang of Meddling Kids.

Now, please understand: at this time, this is a labor of love, a volunteer gig. There is no pay…yet.

The hope is that we’ll get enough traffic to start selling ads, generate some revenue, and start paying folks. But there are a few steps we have to take internally before that happens. Which involves our contributors.

Creating great content is the key to return visits. And there are plenty of opportunities to create great content:

  • TV show recaps
  • movie and book reviews
  • video game reviews & tutorials
  • news roundups
  • writing for Comic Con Carne
  • new podcasts coming soon
  • science & technology articles
  • space exploration articles
  • etc.
  • etc.
  • etc.

Plus, if you’re an active contributor, there are other opportunities. If you’re good in front of crowds, you could moderate panels; good in front of a camera, maybe you get to interview your hero. As a certain pointy-eared hobgoblin says, “There are always possibilities.”

So, do you have what it takes? Even if you don’t have a lot of experience, enthusiasm is welcome, too. Feel free to contact us through the link up top and let us know.

There’s always room to grow. Onward and upward!
