Casting News

Netflix’s Daredevil finally cast one of the crucial parts, that of Matt Murdock’s best friend and legal partner, Foggy Nelson. The role went to actor Elden Henson, who previously starred in CBS’ Intelligence and will appear in both parts of Mockingjay. “In a town full of crime and corruption, Foggy’s friendship to the community and passion for improving it have made him a friend to its many residents from all walks of life.”

In an unconfirmed set of news, we might see Jaqen H’ghar returning to Game of Thrones in season 5. German agency of actor Tom Wlaschiha has him listed as shooting Games some time in August, noting at the same time that he is in the main cast. HBO is silent about it at the moment, but it doesn’t stop me from being incredibly excited. There are already rampant speculation that we will be seeing a lot more Dorne next season. Is Braavos storyline for Arya also in the works?

Stars Speak Out

Robert Kirkman called into Entertainment Weekly Radio and spilled some beans about the upcoming season of The Walking Dead.

There’s a lot going on with Terminus. In our premiere episode of season 5 we’re going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, what’s going on with them. And by the end of that episode you’re going to have a much better understanding of what’s going on with them and why they’re so important to the show.

They definitely get out of that train car. They do not spend the entirety of season 5 in that train car. It is through ingenuity and creativity and somewhat savageness that they are able to make their way out of that train car.

He also mentioned that while it’s not very realistic to think the show will go on forever, he has enough material in the comics to adapt it for season 10, 11 or 12.

Teen Wolf J.R. Bourne talked about what effect the return of Kate has on Chris Argent, as well as what to expect from season 4:

Well, he already is feeling so much anger, frustration, and vengeance, and what does he do with it? He questions whether or not to return to Beacon Hills, but when it becomes quite clear that she’s back to cause trouble, he finally returns in order to protect those that can’t protect themselves. He still supports the code. He’s back to support the people that were there for his daughter and for him.

Whether he comes back with this idea that he’s going to get rid of her once and for all—that’s the initial driving force for him. It’s somewhere for him to direct that anger and that hurt he has. But yeah, there’s some great stuff that goes one between them.

[In season 4] we’ve got this benefactor and we’ve got a Dead Pool list so it’s a little less of—we don’t have a kanima we don’t have a nogitsune, but we’ve got something a little more grounded in reality. We’ve got financial constraints, we’ve got issues that the families are all dealing with, and we’ve got this person who created a list and plans to rid Beacon Hills of all the supernatural. It’s a very stressful season, but there’s a lot of that exciting stuff happening.

News from DC Universe

After the pilot of The Flash leaked online this week, the Arrow fans have been in a frenzy, because the biggest news coming to us was that of a big merger between Queen Inc. and Wayne Tech (which is supposed to happen in 2024). Does this mean that at some point the show will have a big time jump, along with a DC crossover? All theories online are rumors and nothing has been confirmed (and I doubt it will at all, at this point), but the fans have wanted a crossover with Batman for a very long time. It’s been fueled even more by Vampire Diaries star Steven R. McQueen, who have been openly trying to score the role of Nightwing.
