Jessica Chastain Added to THE HUNTSMAN
Jessica Chastain has joined the cast of The Hunstman, opposite titular star Chris Hemsworth.
Chastain joins Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, and Nick Frost, who are all reprising their roles from Snow White and the Huntsman starring Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart. It had been reported earlier that Frost and a number of the other actors playing dwarves would not return, but a deal has apparently been struck for Frost to continue in the role of Nion.
Visual effects specialist Cedric Nicolas-Troyan takes the helm for his feature directorial debut. He received an Oscar nomination for his visual effects work in the first film. Nicolas-Troyan replaces Frank Darabont, who had been set to direct from his screenplay based on drafts from Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos.
