It's A Marvel Wrinkle — Contest Time!

Banner_H2O_SHS

Something we don’t do a lot: contests! So here we go.

During our most recent H2O (which you can hear by clicking here), Mr. Harvey and I got to contemplating the casting possibilities for the upcoming Warner Brothers adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time. During the course of the conversation, the idea of Tim Curry providing the voice of It then led to the idea that It was another form of Pennywise the Clown. That took us down the primrose path to the mutual Tesseracts — the one in Wrinkle and the one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Naturally, a mashup was born.

So, here’s the contest: between now and September 23rd (which is when Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and our own Level Eleventy-Seven return), put together some kind of mashup — art, photography, video, multimedia, etc. — and post it to wherever you normally post things, then send us a link. The winner gets a $25 gift certificate from SuperHeroStuff.com.  We’re calling it:

#ItsAMarvelWrinkle

Officially:

  1. Follow SciFi4Me on Twitter

  5. Deadline is 11:59:59 pm Central US Tuesday, September 23, 2014.
  6. The winner(s) will be selected by representatives of SciFi4Me and SuperHeroStuff, determined by criteria of creativity, quality, originality, and use of the three source story universes.
  7. Winner(s) will be announced and contacted via Twitter. Alternate method of contact will be through the site hosting the submitted media.
  8. Winner(s) will be awarded prize(s) in accordance with arrangements made by representatives of SuperHeroStuff.
  9. Employees of SciFi4Me or SuperHeroStuff are not eligible.
  10. All decisions are final.

Now, this is our first official contest with SuperheroStuff, so naturally we’d like to impress them so much their buttons pop. So get busy! Share and submit! We’re looking forward to seeing what you’ve all created. Good luck!
