FALLING SKIES Gets a Fourth Season

TNT has announced the fourth season pickup of the summer alien invasion series Falling Skies.

Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the show has been posting numbers in the 5.8 million range in the category known as “Live +7” — which means people who actually watch it when it airs for the first time on TNT, plus everyone that watches it within seven days thereafter. This can be online, through a DVR device , or some other (legal) means to watch the show through digital access.

Falling Skies currently ranks as the number one scripted show on basic cable — among adults 18 to 54 — and has seen an increase in average viewership over last year, when they were getting 5.6 million.

The show currently airs on TNT Sunday nights at 10pm Eastern US, and stars Noah Wyle along with Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Connor Jessup, Maxim Knight, Seychelle Gabriel, Mpho Koaho, Colin Cunningham and Sarah Carter. Among the guest stars this season on Falling Skies are Gloria Reuben, Robert Sean Leonard, Stephen Collins and Doug Jones.
