Ben Hardy Joins APOCALYPSE
Actor Ben Hardy has landed what is reported to be a “key role” in X-Men: Apocalypse, directed by Bryan Singer.
Best known for the BBC soap opera EastEnders, Hardy joins returning cast members James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Micheal Fassbender in the follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past, which essentially reset the X-Men universe for Fox.
Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan and Alexandra Shipp are also new to the cast, and Oscar Isaac will play the titular villain of what screenwriter Simon Kinberg promises to be a “spectacle”. Sources tell Variety that Hardy’s role is significant.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.
