  • There’s a lot of techno-babble about the new controller, but it looks pretty much the same.
  • There’s a lot of techno-babble about the updated Kinect, and it looks Star Trek-esque in gadgetry.
  • They’re trying to basically replace all of your current entertainment media consoles (think DVD player, cable receiver box, et cetera) with a super-powered voice-activated computer.
  • Mr. Steven Speilberg has a HALO live-action show in the works for the console. Here’s hoping they’ve already called Nathan Fillion.
  • There are a lot of sports games coming out within the year: we’re looking at every sport from American football to fighting a la UFC.
  • Xbox Live Gold is going to be transitioning to the new Xbox One interface, with time left on your memberships carrying over.
  • It’ll have a Blu-ray player. No big shocker there.
  • They’re working towards more advanced AI so worlds can evolve with the player. Anyone else sensing early Holodeck technology?
