BANNER_News2013

Over at the Technodrome Forums, a site dedicated to all things related to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a user identified as “DVD” has posted images reported to be from a toy catalog in China.

This is our first look at the design for Krang, and it confirms the long-standing rumor that he’s in the movie. Not only that, but the Rolling Stone interview also details Michael Bay’s conference call with Industrial Light & Magic visual effects supervisor Pablo Helman, in which he reviewed visual effects designs for Krang, BeBop, and Rocksteady. The latter two we’ve already seen in a trailer:

In discussing the design for Krang, Helman says the team at ILM eliminated the tentacles, and wonders if it looks “too monster-ish”. “He could have some tentacles,” says Bay. “I just don’t want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be in theaters June 3, 2016.
