TOMB RAIDER Reboot Gets Writer
The reboot of Tomb Raider now has a writer: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles‘ Evan Daugherty.
Warner Brothers is co-producing with MGM and producer Graham King. The film is based on the popular Square Enix video game that features Lara Croft, a relic hunter and adventure icon who got a video game reboot in 2013. The new Lara Croft has been physically re-imagined to more realistic proportions in her body type, and the game focuses on Croft’s origins as an archeology student who gets stranded on an island in the Dragon’s Triangle, east of Japan.
This new film will not be connected to the previous two films starring Angelina Jolie as Croft, and will tell the tale of Croft’s first adventure.
