Space: The final frontier…and also a very funny place.
The new trailer for Seth McFarlane’s new Fox series, The Orville dropped at SDCC 2017 and it is beautiful. This looks good and funny as well. It also has an excellent pedigree with MacFarlane, Brannon Braga, David A. Goodman, Jason Clark and Liz Heldens serving as executive producers on the series. Jon Favreau directed the pilot, on which he also served as an executive producer.

The new series stars Seth McFarlane as Captain Ed Mercer who has been given command of The Orville, a mid-level exploratory spaceship, 400 years from now. He is joined by Adrianne Palicki as Kelly Grayson, The Orville’s first officer…and Ed’s ex-wife.
It also stars Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Halston Sage, J. Lee, Mark Jackson, and Chad L. Coleman.
Prepare for action, adventure, and comedy as The Orville comes to Fox on September 10th at 8/7c.
