RUNE 2 Release, FALLOUT Miniatures, and FINAL FANTASY Updates

Over the last couple of days, we’ve received word of several gaming expansions that are hitting the market soon.

Rune 2 announced that it’s releasing on November 12, exclusively on the Epic Games Store. It’s the story of how a brave Viking must take Loki down, with only his gear and divine blessings from the deity you choose to worship backing you up. The game will receive a beta test from September 20th to September 22nd. The beta will be focused around the game’s Team Deathmatch modes. You can find info regarding this on Epic Store’s Rune 2 page.

The game will be available on Steam in 2020.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare is getting more miniatures.  Iconic enemy types and companions like Assaultrons, Dogmeat, the X-01 Survivor, Protectrons, and the Sentrybot are being added to the game’s star studded cast of units. You can find these units on Modiphius’ website.

Final Fantasy: The Trading Card Game has a new two-player starter deck out: Wraith vs. Knight. The deck is based on the villain and the main protagonist of Final Fantasy 3, respectively.

Last, but not least, Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia promises that Noctis will be a “permanent unit”, as they are making him a character that you can obtain at any time, via the “Royal Hope” missions. Previously, you could only obtain him for a limited amount of time. Square Enix also says that Noctis will be “more powerful”, and that you’ll receive additional rewards for obtaining him, like tickets that give you more characters.

Square also announced that Noctis will have a limited time costume, available via a “Special Wardrobe Chest” bundle.
