Idris Elba Has Joined the STAR TREK Cast
The cast of the recent Star Trek film has announced that Star Trek Beyond and Omaze are partnering up to raise money for nine charities, and for ten dollars fans will have a chance to win a walk-on role to the film, a tour of the set, and meet the cast of the film.
Idris Elba was also in the video to announce the partnership, officially joining the cast. The Golden Globe winner is known for his roles in Pacific Rim and Luther.
Justin Lin is directing Star Trek Beyond and it is set to come out on July 8, 2016.
No announcements have been made about what part Elba will be playing, or if he will be with or against Chris Pine and the rest of the crew.
