H2O #157: In Which We Finally, Reluctantly Discuss Politics

OK. Our discussions of politics have generally been brief, mainly because we disagree on a great many things. But that doesn’t stop us from being friends and colleagues. Naturally, the conversations sometimes tend to get a little … energetic, let’s say? But ultimately it comes down to having enough respect for each other to at least listen to what the other one says, even if he’s wrong.
Now it appears that’s caught up with us…

Interacting with your content. Actually good to hear two people disagreeing without each deciding the other is an awful person. Wish we could explore the places in which we disagree without it descending into personal attacks and shunning more often.
Agreed, John! It’s too bad that we’re at the point now where it seems the default is to resort to name-calling. Maybe one way of looking at it is we can only go up from here?
