FROM A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW ESB Authors Revealed [Updated]

For the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, Del Rey will be publishing From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back, a sequel to the anthology that covered events of A New Hope.

The anthology will feature forty short stories by forty authors, and a number of them are not well known. Tom Hoeler, an editor at Del Rey, says this is by design, posting on Twitter that expanding the roster of contributors in the Star Wars universe was an objective.

The first anthology, From a Certain Point of View: A New Hope, was released on October 3, 2017 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars movie released in 1977. (Some call it A New Hope, while some still call it Star Wars.) That anthology also collected forty stories by forty-three authors. A new paperback edition will be published in October, prior to the release of the new collection.
