Dataminers Leak FORTNITE Crossover with Batman

Yesterday, dataminers uncovered new Batman themed weapons for the popular third-person shooter, Fortnite.

The items were uncovered in the v10.31 update patch by Lucas7yoshi and FNBR leaks, which also posted a music track on Twitter:

The weapons include explosive Batarangs and a grappling gun. A map change will also occur, with the famous Tilted Towers map becoming Gotham City. People speculate that there will also be some Batman themed cosmetics, as well. The leak also found some challenges pertaining to the new content, like “light the Batsignal” and “deploy the Batcape.”

This event is very close to National Batman Day, which is on the 21st of September, so this new content will probably be released sometime around then. Currently, there is no word as to whether this will be similar to the Thanos event, where you could play the game as Thanos, or if the game is just getting new weapons and a map change.

Fortnite is currently available on every current gen console on the market.
