AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Seems To Be On Track — LEVEL ELEVENTY-SEVEN 16

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back for a couple of weeks before taking off during the Olympics, and tonight’s episode had quite a bit of “Wha-huh?” moments that take the intensity up a notch. And then there’s Stan Lee, on top of that!

Did this episode fall into the “when it works, it’s good” category, or did it hit the “figuring out who they are” land? For the most part, the former. When this show is doing the spy stuff, it seems to have a better sense of itself. Tonight’s episode felt like everyone has finally slipped into their groove in terms of inter-team dynamics as well as actors feeling comfortable with their characters.
