AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Promotes Palicki to Regular

Deadline reports that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has promoted Adrianne Palicki from “recurring” to “series regular” for the rest of the season.

Palicki’s Agent Bobbi Morse, AKA “Mockingbird”, was introduced as a double agent infiltrated as head of security for the facility where Jemma Simmons was also posing as a Hydra loyalist. Both had their covers blown at the same time, bringing Mockingbird into the S.H.I.E.L.D. team just as they set out on their search for the lost city.

Morse has a history with both Lance Hunter — she’s his ex-wife — and Mack, the team’s resident “make it go” man. Only her history with Mack has been hinted to be something more sinister, and the episode “Aftershocks” will show some of that scheme.
