A GRIMM Comic!

The NBC television show Grimm has signed a deal with Dynamite to bring the story from the small screen to the page. This news comes on the heals of the deal made to renew the Battlestar Galatica license. There has not been a creative team named yet for the Grimm project.

Last summer Grimm had a strong presence at the San Diego Comic-Con International. In fact their poster was drawn in comic book style by Whilce Portacio. It’s possible that this poster was the inspiration for this project.

Grimm‘s Executive Producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf expressed excitement for this project. Saying it would allow for deeper exploration in the world that the Grimm show has created. They will also be able to do stories that don’t work as well in a television format. The hope is that this will appeal to both fans of the show and comic book fans in general.

More news is to be released by Dynamite this weekend at the New York Comic-Con. Stay tuned to SciFi4Me for all the latest news.
