You Say You Want a Revolution?
NBC has announced the very genre-thin fall lineup, and while it doesn’t include Awake (no surprise, given that it was a smart show nobody watched but should have…), it does include this new one from Jon Favreau and J.J. Abrams.
That’s enough of a combination to at least get us slightly interested. But given Abrams’ track record lately (Alcatraz), does this look like it might last?
Add to that, it’s got Giancarlo Esposito as a warlord on horseback, and the interest level inches up a notch. But does this mean he’s not coming back to Once Upon a Time?
And hey! Community will be back, too!

Of course, it raises some eyebrows that the post-electric world looks exactly like the one in this short from Wes Ball, who doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the IMDb listing for the new show. Maybe these were cribbed just for NBC’s trailer. Or possibly Ball is involved, just not listed.

According to Wes Ball:

He gave them permission to use the shots.
